What Epitalon is

Epitalon (epithalon) is a synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) from the Russian bioregulator research line (Khavinson, St. Petersburg). It's the longevity/anti-aging staple — the 'reset' peptide that biohackers and longevity-clinic clients run.

How it works

Plain: it 'resets' the body clock — reactivates the enzyme (telomerase) that maintains chromosome end-caps, and normalises melatonin/circadian rhythm. Technical: it induces hTERT expression → telomerase activity → telomere elongation in telomerase-negative human cell lines, plus pineal melatonin/circadian regulation.

What it's used for

Longevity/anti-aging research, sleep/circadian work, telomere biology, and (claimed) antioxidant/neuroprotection. The go-to for 'reset' protocols in the 40–65 longevity crowd.

Evidence & typical research use

Evidence: Evidence grade E — single-lab-dominant, 100+ publications over 25+ years, now with an independent 2025 replication. Animal data shows lifespan and cancer-resistance effects; human observational work shows a mortality signal. Caveats: small n, no Western RCTs yet.

Typical research dosing: Typical research use: 5–10 mg/day, 10–20 consecutive days, cycled 1–2×/year. (Typical research ranges — not a prescription.)

Side effects to know: A clean safety record in the Russian cohorts; hypersensitivity to diluents; a theoretical telomerase/cancer interplay (why it's not for active-tumor patients without oversight).

Research-use product, supplied from GMP-grade sources. Not a licensed medicine and not for direct human consumption. Dosing shown = typical research/clinical ranges, not a prescription.

FAQ — Epitalon

What does epitalon actually do?

It's a 'reset' peptide: it reactivates telomerase (which maintains chromosome end-caps) and helps normalise melatonin and circadian rhythm. It's the longevity-protocol staple.

How is it different from NMN/NAD+?

NMN/NR feed the NAD+ pathway; epitalon works on telomerase and the circadian clock. They're complementary, not the same mechanism — some longevity stacks combine them.

Is the evidence strong?

Single-lab-dominant with a 2025 independent replication; strong animal data, limited human RCTs. That's the research niche. We supply it research-grade with a COA.

Minimum order?

No — per-vial pricing, order one vial or a full course.
